Today is only 39 for a high after temps in the 80's. It really feels cold. I will have to cover my strawberry plants tonight. I took a picture of the swan that Ernie made to hang a hummingbird feeder on. I think it is really pretty.
Today I asked Anna to walk with me on the closed part of the golf course to collect rocks. We know there are a lot of rocks, for in my flower beds, because one day we took a walk on this same path and wound up walking for 2 1/2 hours. We promised each other that we would come back another day and get some. So I brought my old red wagon, camera, water, and a snack. We also had to bring our umbrellas because it looked like it was going to start raining any minute. We didn't have to go too far when we spotted some good rocks. Then I spotted the 'boulder' as we called it, because it was very heavy for me to lift. We filled the wagon with our treasures and then decided to sit on the hill and take a break. We had a great day together.
So far this year we have been able to do some new things in our yard. Ernie built a flower bed in the front yard and a corner flower bed in the back yard.
